Time Management Tips To Make Time Available to You.
If you’ve ever asked how you can do more in less time, then clearly you’ve felt like you didn’t have enough time.
I tell you what, though; You really do have enough time if it is adequately managed.
1. Prioritize tasks
As much as we may want to do everything all at once, the simple truth is we just cannot.
This is why it is so important to prioritize.
I strive to multi-task efficiently, but I’ve had days where I tried to juggle too many things all at once, and of course, that didn’t end well.
Here’s all you have to do.
Begin by making a list of all the things you want to do, then separate the urgent tasks from the less urgent tasks and tackle those first.
This will help you balance your schedule and obligations at home or at work, very effortlessly.
Admittedly, priorities change from time to time, but it is crucial to determine what matters most now or what gets you closer to your overall goal so you can focus on that.
And another thing; When you begin the day by finishing your most significant task, you will experience a positive feeling of achievement.
2. Plan your activities around your high energy periods.
Ever wondered why your productivity is better at certain times more than the other?
The truth is that your productivity is directly proportional to your energy.
So you’ll have to determine when your energy levels are at their peak and plan your most difficult jobs for those periods.
It could be in the mornings when you’ve just gotten out of bed, or perhaps after you’ve just had breakfast or a cup of coffee.
After that, you can pinpoint your minimal tasks and reserve those for when you have less energy.
3. Plan your day
I love planners, physical planners, digital Planners, all sorts of planners.
I believe that making a weekly, daily, or monthly plan is an amazing method to successfully manage your time.
There are some must-have pages that I need to be in my planner to make me more productive, and this is why I took my time to make this beautiful planner that has all I need to manage my time effectively.

4. Sometimes choose completion over perfection
Dont get me wrong, trying to get everything done perfectly is superb. But it is easy to get caught up in doing everything perfectly that we end up getting nothing done.
On some days, it is better to get the task done. Perfectionism can easily slow you down.
5. It is ok to outsource.
As much as I want to be a super mom and do everything by myself, the way I like it done, I’ve realized that sometimes it is better when I outsource tasks.
I’ll be honest, I’ve always hated outsourcing because it felt like I still had to spend so much time fixing what the other person did, and it doesn’t really save me time, so what’s the point, right?.
The truth is, we all have a certain way we want things to be done.
But sometimes, when outsourcing, we need to understand that the person we are outsourcing to may never do the task exactly the way we want it done.
But, this doesn’t necessarily mean that they did it poorly.
In addition to that, sometimes, if we give the right instructions, then we will get our tasks done just the way we want.
Because honestly, you will have too much on your plate at some point, a lot more than you can physically manage.
Outsourcing is a vital time management skill that gets disregarded, but it is undoubtedly a sure-fire way to get a lot done in less time.
Seriously, It is ok to ask for help from time to time, so you have more time on your hands to focus your attention on other things.
6. Automate repetitive tasks.
Isn’t it odd that we spend so much time doing repetitive chores and so little time looking for ways to simplify or automate these chores?
If you can automate many of your day-to-day responsibilities, it will undoubtedly free up more time for you.
Streamlining what you need to do at work, business, or at home will change your life for real.
Thankfully, technology has made automation super easy. For example, as a mompreneur, you could take advantage of tools to
- Make a schedule for your social media posts.
- Create email reponse templates and
- Fill up online forms automatically.
Another example is choosing to meal plan, cook in bulk, or make ahead freezer meals instead of cooking every day.

It is time to stop.
For instance, I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve spent over thirty minutes scrolling mindlessly on social media.
Now that’s a problem, and I believe there are many other productive ways I can spend my time.
If your phone is a major distraction, here are a few things you could do;
- Probably turn off your phone’s and devices notifications.
- Use apps like off time, moment, break free, flipd or app detox to help you unplug.
