If cooking is not your thing, you could consider baking or making them a nice mocktail or cocktail to compliment any meal.
2.Make A Fun Note Jar
Here’s another great cheap valentines day idea you could try with your partner.
How does this work?
You start by writing some fun, inexpensive activity or something you would want to do to your partner or have your partner do ito you.
Cut the paper into small pieces and put them in the jar.
Then take turns picking these ideas from the jar and doing what’s written.

Usually the first plan that comes to mind on valentines day is going out for dinner.
But this time, why not skip the expensive dinner and have an intimate candlelit romantic dinner at home instead.

4. Want Flowers? Opt For Another Option besides Roses.
Now we are on the subject of flowers, and if you would care to know, my favorite flowers are peonies and not roses? ; not that you asked, but I just wanted to share.

Roses are usually the first choice for Valentine’s day’s flowers.
However, if you want to enjoy the day on a budget, you may need to consider skipping the roses all-together.
Look for other options that your sweetheart may love ( hint; Peonies ?) and buy those instead. Because chances are because of the high demand, roses are more expensive on Valentine’s day.
And another thing, instead of having the flowers delivered by a florist, you could deliver the flowers yourself.
Not only will you be raking in a few savings, but you’ll also have the opportunity to see your partner’s excitement.

This is another favorite cheap date idea because I love a good movie.
Pick an enjoyable movie that you would both like, preferably a romantic one, but hey, it’s your day, so any movie you and your partner would enjoy works perfectly.
You could also rent a movie on Netflix or Prime Video. They both have great options.
I particularly love prime video because it is included in my prime membership and has many amazing movie options.
Netflix also never disappoints when it comes to entertaining tv shows and great movies, and that you can binge-watch.
So go ahead, pop some popcorn ( it’s cheaper at home ) and Netflix and chill with your partner.?
